First City Council on Cancer
Each year the Alaska REALTORS® partners with the host association to raise funds for a local charity. This year the Southeast Alaska Board of REALTORS® is raising awareness and funds for First City Council on Cancer. The council is a community based non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the financial and emotional impact of a cancer diagnosis for individuals and families of Ketchikan and its outlying communities through the following activities: ensuring adequate access to treatment and cancer support services for the medically indigent; assisting with community and area wide educational initiatives concerning cancer therapy; facilitating local support groups; and establishing fundraising events to help support outreach services.”
During the convention, volunteers will be selling 50/50 tickets. See the program for the dates and times. This is an organization our members feel strongly about supporting, especially for those in need.

Value Proposition – How to articulate your value to today’s consumer – Amy Chorew
Sunny Point Conference Room

A unique value proposition is essential for all real estate professionals to clearly communicate to clients why they are different, better, and worth hiring! What Is a Unique Value Proposition? It is a distinctive promise of value to be delivered, and the belief from the customer that value will be experienced. In reality, a value proposition is the art of communicating’ here is why you should hire me as your real estate professional,’ and it should permeate your entire style, vocabulary, print and social media… and your clients’ experience. In this workshop we will share how to create an amazing Value Proposition. Students will leave with the process to create a clear, concise and compelling Value Prop.
