The Alaska REALTORS® is pleased to announce the following candidates for the 2024 President-Elect and Secretary/Treasurer Officer positions. The election will be conducted electronically between August 31 – September 13, 2023 at 5:00 pm.

We have many great leaders in the Alaska REALTORS®. I believe it only takes one person to see the greatness in others and to raise the standards of our industry, with positivity and commitment to serve. REALTORS® are hungry for positive change, energy, and a fresh sense of purpose. With an unexpected source of inspiration, we not only grow, but thrive.

We must add more educators to our roster because knowledge is the key to our reputation and to maintaining accountability. The future is great, if we continue to work together to improve our connection by open communication. As one we are weak, together we thrive.

I am here to ask for your vote for President Elect of Alaska REALTORS®️. I am the Broker / Owner of Somers Sotheby’s International Realty and have 23 years of experience in Real Estate.

I am a mother of three daughters and live in beautiful Fairbanks. I believe in involvement and supporting your industry. I am where and who I am today because of a journey I started in 2000, that shaped and molded me professionally. I want to continue the work and legacy of those who have come before me to shape and elevate Alaska REALTORS®️ within our state and nationally.

I started my leadership journey in 2010 with local association committees, 2013 GFBR President, 2015 Alaska REALTORS®️ President, 2017 Alaska REALTORS®️ Treasurer and 2020 NAR Regional Vice President. Why do it again?? I’ve asked myself what would I do differently if I knew then what I know now, and I am in that unique position to bring that back to the table. Strong leadership, knowledge of where we have been and a vision to keep us going in the right direction for all the REALTOR®️ Members in Alaska.
