With my 24 years of experience in real estate, I understand the challenges our local, state and national associations face. These challenges encourage me to work harder in advocating for homeowners, helping them achieve their real estate dreams while also strengthening our profession.
As your President, I will use my experience to support our members, champion property rights, and encourage more member involvement. By working together and increasing our participation, we can overcome obstacles and make a real difference in our communities.

Marjorie Pellegrini, Century 21 Realty Solutions
My name is Marjorie Pellegrini, and I am genuinely honored to run for Secretary/Treasurer of the Alaska Association of REALTORS®️. With over 8 years of experience in finance, I am deeply committed to using my skills to serve our association and guide us toward a bright and sustainable future.
My finance journey began in account auditing and banking, where I developed a strong foundation in managing and safeguarding finances with meticulous attention to detail. I then transitioned into loan origination, where I had the privilege of helping clients achieve their dreams—an experience that enriched my understanding of financial stewardship.
In addition to these roles, I have been fortunate to serve on the finance committee for the Homer Hockey Association, where I have contributed to strategic financial planning and sustainability, directly benefiting our local community. As the 2021 Alaska REALTORS®️ Convention Chair, I successfully managed the event's budget, further showcasing my ability to oversee financial matters with precision and care.
Since 2022, I have also served on the NAR Safety Committee, where we focused on all aspects of REALTOR® safety. I am particularly proud of being part of the team that developed the mental wellness toolkit, which was completed last year. Furthermore, I have had the privilege of serving on the executive committee for Region 12, where I gained valuable leadership experience and insight into the challenges and opportunities within our region.
As we face potentially leaner times, I am ready to serve with a focus on longevity, fiscal responsibility, and the well-being of our members. My commitment is to protect your dues, ensure every dollar is spent wisely, and keep our association on a path to continued success.

Angie Tallant, Somers Sotheby’s International Realty
I’m extremely honored and excited to be nominated for the position of Alaska REALTORS®️ Secretary-Treasurer and I’m here to ask for your vote!!!
My name is Angie Tallant, and I am the owner of Somers Sotheby’s International Realty and Broker and practicing REALTOR®️ of the Fairbanks Office and have 23 years of experience in Real Estate. I am a mother of three daughters and live in beautiful Fairbanks. I believe in involvement and supporting your industry.
I am where and who I am today because of a journey I started in 2000, that shaped and molded me professionally. I want to continue the work and legacy of those who have come before me to shape and elevate Alaska REALTORS®️ within our state and nationally. I started my leadership journey in 2010 with local association committees, 2013 GFBR President, 2015 Alaska REALTORS®️ President, 2016 - 2017 Alaska REALTORS®️ Treasurer and 2020 NAR Regional Vice President. Outside of our industry I serve in various capacities for the Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce, Treasurer of the Fairbanks Economic Development Corporation, Breast Cancer Detection Center, Fairbanks Children’s Museum and FNSB Housing Task Force. I am heavily involved in our military community as a child of a veteran of the Army and former spouse to the Air Force.
During my tenure in 2016-2017 I helped the Alaska REALTORS®️ separate their financials from their properties to better ascertain the overall profit and loss of the buildings, involved in RFP for management of the Association’s assets, and during a time when we didn’t have a CEO, handled the day-to-day tasks of the association’s A/R and A/P, and annual budgeting for the association.
Why do it again?? I’ve asked myself what I would do differently if I knew then what I know now, and I am in that unique position to bring that back to the table. Strong leadership, knowledge of where we have been and a vision to keep us going in the right direction for all the REALTOR®️ Members in Alaska.
