House Passes Climate Bill                                                                                     The U.S. House of Representatives approved the American Clean Energy and Security Act. The bill includes National Association of Realtors supported provisions, that exempt existing homes and buildings from the bill's provisions to build upon an existing Energy Star Labeling program. 2009 Realtor® of the Year                                                                                     The Alaska Association of Realtors® is seeking candidates for the 2009 Realtor® of the Year award, Each year AAR recognizes an active member who has provided outstanding service to their profession and the community during the year. The recipient is announced in September at the annual convention and also recognized nationally at the NAR annual convention.   Any member can submit a candidate's name.  All entries must be submitted by August 15, 2009.  Realtors of the year form

Request for 2011 Convention Proposals                                                             The Alaska Association of Realtors® is accepting proposals for the 20111 Annual Convention.  Member boards or individual members need to submit a letter of intent to the Association by August 15, 2009.
