September 11-14 at the Hotel Alyeska in Girdwood, Alaska

The 2012 Alaska Association of REALTORS Convention will be September 11-14, 2012 at the Hotel Alyeska in Girdwood, Alaska.  This year’s theme is “REALTORS In The Running”. The convention is sponsored by the Alaska Association of REALTORS and hosted by the Anchorage Board of REALTORS.

Speakers

The keynote speaker is Dave Mitchell who will present The Power of Understanding People – Expanding Your Market Appeal. Dave’s style is often best described by a term he coined – enter-train-ment. Dave takes great pride in using proven principles in applied performance and cognitive psychology and delivering a high impact training experience that is also incredibly entertaining. Participants consistently rate Dave’s presentations very highly, with comments such as: “absolutely amazing”, “life-changing” and “best training we’ve ever experienced”. Closing speaker Amy Chorew will be the closing speaker on Friday.  The courses she is teaching are How to Create Your Powerful Online Marketing Strategy and Website Strategies: 5 Critical Elements to Keep your Consumer Engaged. Amy Chorew has been teaching REALTORS to use technology for over 15 years.  As an experienced salesperson and Marketing Director for some of Connecticut’s most prestigious brokerages, Amy puts her talents to use by creating fun learning environments for her students.  Amy’s straightforward approach to education is backed by real field experience that brokers and agents appreciate as they learn new technology skills.
